I went to the doctor today and they drew blood. I usually pass out when I have blood drawn but didn't today. Instead I got this huge bruise from where the nurse stuck me.

I finally convinced John to clean out the garage. We rented a storage unit for him to store all his junk since he refuses to get rid of any of it. This was the first load of stuff we took. This is the first step for us to get our house up for sale, that is a long way away but at least we are heading in that direction.

John and I went to a sushi restaurant (which we don't like) to meet up with some friends we haven't seen in ages. It was Chris' birthday so his mom sent a cake for him for us to celebrate.

One of the perks of teaching at a local high school is getting into the football games (and all sporting events for that matter) for free. Plus our Principal loves us and we have a free faculty cookout at each home game. My kids love going to the games and this was the first Friday we have been able to go. Bolton lost but it was a good game.

My kitchen has been decorated in Sunflowers since we moved in (10 years ago), I love sunflowers. However I am tired of them in my kitchen. Plus my potholder is getting holes in it. So I need to make a change. These went in the trash tonight.
